FAQ concerning the NOMIS Fellowship Program at eikones


Fellowships are advertised annually beginning on September 1. Please check our website for the call for applications.

The selection committee will meet in mid-December 2024, and invitations for interviews will be sent out at the end of December. The interviews will take place in January 2025.

We welcome research in ALL fields of the humanities, social sciences, and natural sciences. It is, however, essential that the research proposal relate to the topic of the fellowships.

Please be advised that we do not support artistic or creative projects.

Projects should relate to ways in which images can serve as models in scientific, aesthetic, and didactic contexts. Please consult the call for applications for further details concerning the topic.

Applicants must possess a PhD and have published in their field. We expect applicants to have either authored a monograph or three articles in journals.

No. We do not expect you to be in contact with faculty. However, we hope that your proposal relates to research being conducted at eikones. Please familiarize yourself with eikones through our website.
